My latest range to launch is the Country Spot Collection. A range of beautiful Earthenware dinnerware, each piece has a hand painted all over spot pattern in a soft duck egg hue. Product of the week: Village Scene Tea Towels

This week I'm featuring my brand new shop scene tea towels from my A/W15 collection at Debenhams. This set of three tea towels includes a hand drawn village scene, which has been screen printed. There is a fruit & veg shop, sweet shop and even an antique shop. The coordinating tea towels in the set include charming prints and little details like a pom pom edge.

Come and see me this November Lustre!

Lustre is a high profile fair that celebrates the very best of contemporary craft and is regarded as one of the leading selling event in the East Midlands. During this special weekend at Nottingham Lakeside Arts you will find over 65 of the country’s finest contemporary craft makers selling everything from fine jewellery, bags and hats to ceramics, glass and tableware.  Each maker has been specially selected by an independent panel for the quality and uniqueness of their craft and will be on hand to talk to you about the ideas and techniques behind their work.

Each year you will find first-time exhibitors as well as some returning favourites, so there is always something new to discover.  Not to be missed is their Young Meteors gallery, showcasing some of the most cutting-edge work produced by recent graduates from across the UK.

Bake Along: Chelsea Buns

It the final of The Great British Bake Off this week! Boo! Hiss! This week we've made Chelsea Buns at Ashley Thomas HQ. This recipe is soft, sticky and totally scrummy!
Super easy to make to try it at home yourself with the recipe below.


You'll Need...
500g Plain Flour
100g Caster Sugar
1 tsp yeast (easy bake)
280ml milk, tepid
1 tsp salt
100g butter
1 egg, medium

100g sultanas
50g currents
50g mixed peel
Large pinch of mixed spice

To Make...
Mix together the flour, 50g sugar, slat and yeast.
Rub in 75g butter
Whisk egg lightly into the milk and add to flour mixture.
Mix to form a soft dough.
Knead thoroughly for 10 minutes, shape into a ball.
Enclose in a greased plastic bag or covered bowl until risen to double in size.
Flatten with knuckles to distribute gases then knead again lightly.
Roll dough out to a rectangle 18ins x 12ins melt remaining 25g of butter and brush it over the dough.
Mix together dried fruits, peel remaining sugar and mixed spice and sprinkle over the top of the dough.
Roll up from longest side, cute into 16 slices and place close together on a greased baking tray.
Enclose in greased plastic bag and leave to rise for about 30mins.
Heat oven, bake buns until well risen and golden brown.
Cool on rack and separate when cold.

Inspired by the quaint country village, this white cookie jar comes from my home range at Debenhams. Designed in the shape of a bakery, it is crafted from stoneware with a lovely floral trim and a scrumptious cake display in the window. It features an air tight lid, perfect to keep those biscuits fresh.
